Oivier Véran, accompanied by the prefect of the Rhône and the director of the ARS has just arrived at the Edouard Herriot hospital. He was welcomed by Grégory Doucet, the mayor of Lyon, Jean-Louis Touraine and Anne Brugnera and representatives of the Hospices Civils de Lyon.
A delegation of caregivers must be received by the minister’s office.

10:50 am: caregivers make their demands heard
Caregivers are already waiting in front of the hospital to make their demands heard. Several dozen caregivers are gathered. They are asking for job creation, training, upgrading.
“Macron, Véran, liars, enough elimination of beds, enough elimination of posts” chant the demonstrators.
“We hope that they will listen instead of distilling the slogan economy, economy,” insists this nursing assistant from Vinatier.
