Hispanic viewers in the New York and New Jersey area will have the opportunity to live the experience of watching the news firsthand on the streets of their neighborhoods.
For one week – starting this February 5 – the transmissions of the four Noticias 41 Univision newscasts will be made from New York neighborhoods and the Garden States.
According to channel executives in a statement, viewers at home will have the opportunity to win gift cards every day.
“As part of Univision 41’s mission to inform and serve the Hispanic community, the network’s newscast will broadcast live from the streets of Manhattan, Queens, Brooklyn, Bronx, Passaic, Newark, Paterson and Elizabeth. The community will be able to see how news anchors Damaris Díaz, Ana Patricia Candiani, Esperanza Ceballos and Adriana Vargas take their work in the studios to the neighborhoods,” they detailed.
Special guests will include community leaders, district presidents, mayors and Council members, who will speak on topics relevant to our viewers, such as housing, crime, transportation, security, economic development and civic engagement.
“Our community in the tri-state area trusts Noticias 41 Univision and expects to receive resources and information on the issues that affect their lives,” said Luisa Collins, VP of News Content. “Get on 41 brings us closer to those we serve while providing a new wave of search for news and reporting.”
Viewers at home will be able to participate with a “watch to win” contest and a chance to win a $250 gift card during Súbete al 41 week. A total of ten winners will be announced daily. For more details about the contest and registration, visit: www.univision.com/subeteal41
