“Live Music: Emily Yermol Concert at Yard of Pegasus on May 27, 2023”

An evening of live music with Emilija Jermola/vocals, Eduard Baris/guitar, Andri Dedzi/bass, Marka Markus Ābelīti/percussion and backing vocalists Elizabeta Lukaševica and Anna Rebekah Roziņa.

Emily writes her own songs and calls her music style indie-pop. It is marked by a haunting melody and beautifully poignant lyricism. In the summer of 2021, Emily herself bright
entered the Latvian music scene with the mini-album “Augustā”, which was nominated for the annual music recording award “Zelta Mikrofons” as the best debut of the year. Last fall, Emilija hit the listeners with musical news – the songs “Lauzu sevi” and “Rietumos”, which are the first harbingers of the upcoming full-length album in the fall.
Emily’s new project is associated with a bright and melancholic sound, rich polyphony and musicality, which is complemented by her live band – her closest friends, with whom she
has been working for two years.
