MotoGP – Good morning dear readers of FormulaPassion.it and welcome back to the direct text of the MotoGP tests on the Valencia track. It will be a single day: it will start at 9.30 and will continue until 17.30. Undoubtedly it will be an interesting session: the teams will test the new features in view of 2023 and the riders who change teams will get on their new bikes for the first time. There will also be the world champion Francesco Bagnaia, who won the world title on this track on Sunday, finishing ninth under the checkered flag.

13.45 – The only rider so far capable of falling below his time in qualifying when changing teams was Raul Fernandez (Aprilia RNF), now 20th in 1’31.638. On Saturday with KTM Tech3 he stopped at 1’31.676.

Augusto Fernandez’s first laps in MotoGP (KTM Tech3) see him 23rd and last, 3 ″ 5 from the leader.

10.55 – Enea Bastianini’s adventure begins on the factory team’s flaming red Ducati, with the fuchsia 23 on the front fairing. For the first time the rider from Rimini will get on the GP22 used by the test team, after a season with the updated GP21 of the Gresini team.

10.50 – Miguel Oliveira (Aprilia RNF) finds the tenth position, 1’31.606, nine tenths behind the session leader Zarco. The Portuguese is also making his debut on the bike from Noale, after his long experience in KTM. World champion Francesco Bagnaia is now really on track with the Ducati ’63’.

10.40 – Step forward for Zarco (Ducati Pramac), first in 1’30.626. At the moment the best of the riders who have changed teams is Alex Marquez (Ducati Gresini), twelfth in 1’31.898.

10.33 – Zarco (Ducati Pramac) is now second, 0 ″ 263 behind the leader Vinales (Aprilia). The first impressions of Alex Marquez (Ducati Gresini) are defined by the team “Super positive, especially under braking”.

9.45 – Fabio Quartararo takes off on the Valencia track, riding his trusty Yamaha M1. His initial lap is 1’34.545, the second is 1’32.503.

9.40 – Pirro (Ducati) alone took to the track, his current limit is 1’33.231.

9.34 – The first timed lap of Pirro (Ducati) is 1’34.972, the following 1’33.768. His new teammate Enea Bastianini is getting ready for the pits.

9.30 – Green light for the Valencia Test – The morning session will last four hours, the lunch break is scheduled at 13.30. The first to enter the track is Michele Pirro (Ducati) on the “63” of Bagnaia.
