LIVE | Mayors Look Ahead to Corona Holidays | Inland

The mayors of the Security Council look ahead to the holidays on Monday evening in their meeting. The administrators of the 25 safety regions will also discuss, among other things, doubts about the enforcement of the latest measures. Most measures are clear, explained a spokeswoman, but there are always points that are discussed. For example, it was previously not entirely clear whether you should classify the restaurants on golf courses under catering or sports canteens.

Mayor Hubert Bruls of Nijmegen will probably chair the meeting again. He was on holiday for a short time and was observed by Henri Lenferink of Leiden.

Since the infection rates and the number of people in hospitals with corona have risen again, the 25 drivers meet again every week. They advise the cabinet on the measures to be taken. Minister Ferd Grapperhaus (Security) will be present in Utrecht on Monday.

Last week, the cabinet again announced stricter rules to reduce the series of infections to a manageable number. The partial lockdown initially applies for four weeks.
