Live: Max Verstappen in action during 24-hour race on digital Nürburgring

While there’s no race on the calendar this week, you can Max Verstappen just see it in action. The Dutchman participates in the iRacing Nüburgring 24H together with Team Redline.

Verstappen has a great passion for sim racing and is regularly involved with it in his spare time. If the Red Bull driver cannot be found on the track or in the gym, then you will undoubtedly find him in his simulator. Together with Team Redline, the team he is part of, he regularly participates in online events. It is striking that the Limburger is almost as strong on the virtual circuits as on the physical circuits. In that respect, he is not inferior to the many professional sim racers he encounters along the way.

24H Nürburgring

Also this weekend, Verstappen will be back behind his simulator. This time it is time for a 24-hour race on the virtual Nürburgring. The Dutchman participates together with the German Max Benecke and British Chris Lulham on behalf of BMW Team Redline. Last Friday, the team already came into action during a two-hour training session. Qualifying started at 2:20 PM and will be followed by a warm-up lap. After that, the race, which, as the name suggests, will take place for 24 hours.
