There must be a separate minister for corona testing. GL leader Jesse Klaver argues for this. He appoints former DSM CEO Feike Sijbesma as a suitable candidate.

“Someone is needed who stands above the parties and remains in the cabinet after the next formation,” said the leader of the left-wing opposition party. “Someone extra is needed.”

According to Klaver, there should be a ‘test society’ where all Dutch people can be tested for the corona virus several times a week. There are currently major problems with the testing policy.

Sijbesma has been corona for the cabinet in recent months. As an advisor, he helped to significantly expand the testing policy. The authoritative director has now stopped his job. Klaver thinks he should have been given more space from the Ministry of Health: “Their hands were tied behind his back.”
