Hundreds of farmers have traveled to the Malieveld. Demonstrations are also taking place in four provincial capitals in the Netherlands today.
Dozens of tractors were parked on the grass of the Malieveld on Wednesday morning, which was previously banned by Staatsbosbeheer. They are allowed to drive and stand on the asphalt along the grass. That has just recovered from actions two years ago and even more demonstrations with heavy vehicles. Staatsbosbeheer, owner of the Malieveld, has made a strict agreement with the angry farmers for today.
