After the Monaco Grand Prix, Max Verstappen leads the overall standings with a nine-point lead over Charles Leclerc. The F1 carousel moved to the Caspian Sea coast, where Sergio Pérez triumphed last year. Leclerc won the pole position again in qualifying. Trainings
During the three trainings, we saw two victories by Sergio Perez, which was interrupted by Charles Leclerc in the second practice. Overall, however, the top four almost always belonged to Ferrari and Red Bull drivers. Only once did Fernando Alonso manage to take fourth place over Sainza.
Qualification
Charles Leclerc has traditionally won the qualifiers, dominating six of the eight qualifications this season. Sergio Perez placed behind him with a loss of 0.282 seconds and Max Verstappen finished third. The fourth place belongs to Carlos Sainz and the first five on the starting grid will be closed by George Russell.
