The endless wait is over. Charles De Ketelaere has finally arrived in Milan and within the day he will put black (or Rossonero …) on white, officially becoming a Milan player. The one who had become the summer hit will therefore live his last episode before the Belgian puts himself at the disposal of Stefano Pioli, who could already make him taste the field in the last pre-season friendly, that of Saturday at the Menti in Vicenza, before his debut in championship on Saturday 13th at San Siro against Udinese. Raised in the youth sector of Bruges, CdK made his first team debut on 25 September 2019, in the Belgian Cup match won 3-0 against Francs Borains. The following October 22 marks, however, the debut in the Champions League, in the home defeat against Paris Saint-Germain. On 5 February 2020, still in the Cup, he scored his first professional goal against Zulte Waregem, while on 1 March he scored for the first time in the Pro League, at Genk. The debut year ended with 25 appearances, 2 goals and the victory of the Belgian championship. In the 2020-2021 season he is definitively promoted to the first team. On 22 October, in the away win against Zenit St. Petersburg (1-2), he scored his first goal in the Champions League. At the end of the year he collects 45 appearances and 6 goals, in addition to regaining the championship. In November 2020 he was called up for the first time in the senior national team, making his debut in the friendly 2-1 win against Switzerland. On 10 October 2021 he scored his first goal for the national team in the final for the 3rd place of the Nations League lost 2-1 against Italy.
