The Indonesian U-20 national team continues its preparations for the 2023 U-20 Asian Cup and the 2023 World Cup. They are currently in Turkey to undergo a training camp (TC).
Shin Tae-yong’s team has played two test matches so far. The first ended smoothly, with a 2-1 win over local team Cakallikli Spor.
However, the Indonesian Under 20 national team was impressed that they were still under the Turkish Under 20 national team. In that match, Marselino Ferdinand and colleagues were subdued with a score of 1-2.
However, the upside to be learned from defeat is the fact that the Indonesian Under-20 national team is not much different in quality from strong European teams. Therefore, this process was conducted, to find out the shortcomings so far.
Now, strengthened by the lessons of the previous test match, the Indonesian Under 20 national team hopes to be more mature in facing the Moldovan Under 20 national team. Two test parts will be held over the course of next week.
The first will be held on Tuesday 1 November 2022. While the second game will be held three days later, on Friday 4 November 2022.
