Egypt responds that it is very concerned about the continued attacks between Israel and Iran.
“All I can say is that France calls on all parties to de-escalate and exercise restraint,” said French Deputy Minister for European Affairs Jean-Noël Barrot.
Oman, which has already acted as a mediator in the Middle East, condemns “the Israeli attack on Iranian soil, as well as the repeated Israeli military attacks in the region,” a foreign ministry statement said.
“China opposes any actions that add additional pressure to tension in the Middle East,” the Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson said.
“Japan is deeply concerned about the situation in the Middle East and strongly condemns any actions that lead to escalation of the situation,” said Secretary General Yoshimasa Hayashi. “Japan will continue to make all necessary diplomatic efforts to prevent the situation from further deteriorating.”
