Search finished – “Homeday” is the new main sponsor
After a long search, Hertha BSC has found a main sponsor for the rest of the season. As the Bundesliga team announced on Monday, the Berlin real estate company “Homeday” will join on January 1st.
After its commitment as the main sponsor, the company will join the so-called exclusive partners from the next season. This commitment is initially contractually limited to the end of June 2024. No information was given on financial matters.
At the end of July, those responsible for Hertha had agreed with the then main sponsor Tedi to terminate the contract prematurely. The contract with the discounter would normally have been valid until the end of the current season. Tedi Hertha’s main sponsor has been since 2018. Who will take over the advertising space on the shirt chest in the coming summer is open.
There were also reports months ago that Hertha would be vying for Tesla and Amazon as new partners. City rivals Union Berlin also has a main sponsor from the real estate industry in Aroundtown. (dpa)
