It was goalless at half-time between Manchester United and Atlético Madrid at Ullevaal. At the start of the second half, no substitutions have been made by either team.
After Martial’s great chance early in the first half, it took until the 67th minute before the next real big scoring chance in the match came.
Atlético Madrid’s Saul should have given the Spaniards the lead but headed the ball over from close range despite being left alone.
Christian Eriksen came on for Manchester United soon after to great cheers from a packed Ullevaal crowd.
The Dane showed evidence of quality and strewn around with good passes. He was about to register an assist when he fed Maguire, but the captain headed wide for the goal.
Just before the end came the first score of the match. Joao Felix broke free and tapped the ball into the near corner behind David de Gea.

In an interview with MUTV before the match, Erik ten Hag said that both Eriksen and Martinez will get playing time during the two matches this weekend.
– We have to see how the match goes. They are not physically ready to play 90 minutes and we have to take things step by step and give them playing time today and or tomorrow.
The Dutchman also said that this is the last proper test before the start of the season.
– The majority of the players will play 90 minutes, because that is what you want when we start the season next weekend. So that as many as possible will get minutes in the legs is the purpose of the two games this weekend.
Jadon Sancho was not on the player bus that went to Ullevaal and is also not to be found in the United squad for the match in Oslo.
United.no learns that Sancho is not quite fit, which his absence from the player bus substantiates.
Ten Hag also confirms that Sancho is not involved.
– He [Sancho] has fallen ill and is not with us today.

Sancho arrived in Oslo on Friday evening with the rest of the squad, but did not participate in several of the joint tasks throughout the evening.
The in-form player, who has scored three times in the run-up to the season, must therefore be said to be highly uncertain for the dress rehearsal against the Spanish capital team.
When the United squad left the player hotel, Martial, Eriksen, Martinez, Elanga, De Gea and Fred were waiting on the bus to the Ullevaal stadium.
