Nearly 3,500 people were called individually and followed up through contact-tracing. Set up by ARS, in consultation with Sant Publique France, contact-tracing is a device which aims to identify and call back all those who have been in close contact (family, professional, close passengers in the planes…) with a confirmed case of Coronavirus during its contagious period (we talk about contact subjects or contacts).

These people were the subject of a telephone investigation during which their health was assessed and the importance of:

• respect strict isolation (fourteen)

• monitor their state of health daily (with temperature measurement) and call a dedicated hotline daily

• call immediately 15 if symptoms appear

• wear masks delivered to their home in order to limit the risk of virus transmission (secure travel within the home or outside for reasons of urgent travel).

Contact during the fortnight:

• Mid-term: reminder of people who do not regularly contact the toll-free number (as part of a collaboration with the CIC of the CHU) to ensure that their isolation and their state of health are maintained.

• At the end of the fortnight: reminder of all people to let them know the end of their isolation and to check their health again.
