Freibergs worked in the Extraliga in 2017-2021. First in Zlín, then in Brno and after last year’s exchange in the middle of the season in Třinec, with whom he won the title. He played a total of 227 matches in the Czech top flight and collected 101 points (17+84). Last season he played in the KHL for Dinamo Riga and then in Iserlohn, Germany.
