A solidarity project from Corrientes seeks to donate 700 winter hats to pediatric hospitals. It’s called “Cabecitas Calentitas” and it will reach institutions nationwide.
Dona Cabello Monte Caseros together with her Solidarity Weavers and Juan Pujol’s Creative Grandmothers celebrated the launch of the Little Warm Heads project. It was an exhibition of more than 700 caps that will be donated to the Juan Pablo II and Garrahan Pediatric Hospitals.
They were accompanied by the mayors of Monte Caseros Juan Carlos Alvarez and Sergio Dalzotto from Juan Pujol who promised to continue supporting these initiatives that are for the common good.
On the occasion, he expressed his support to continue with the project and bet on more by making blankets and woolen garments for other hospitals and care centers, as well as to negotiate with Governor Gustavo Valdés a piece of land so that Dona Cabello Monte Caseros has its own headquarters. to continue with this noble activity carried out from love with the heart and soul.
“This is achieved because you are putting yourself in the place of the other and of those who need it most, which sometimes is not an economic issue but also a containment,” the official said.
He also added that this integration and strengthening among the citizens of the department of Monte Caseros makes him proud.
On behalf of Dona Cabello Griselda Pantanetti, she thanked the support of both mayors for their warmth and constant support for the activities they carry out, to all the people who donated wool from both communities and to the weavers who make the hats, a group of protagonist volunteers of this solidarity project that is just beginning.
