A girl is the first baby born in Plovdiv in 2022. Laura came naturally at 7.26 am in USBALAG “Selena” in the team of Dr. Daniel Stavrev, ac. Radeva and neonatologist Dr. Ralitsa Dimitrova. Three more babies were born by noon at the specialized hospital, and a fifth is on the way.
Laura is the first child for the family of 26-year-old Mariela Preshelkova. The birth was extremely fast – less than 2 hours after admission to the hospital. The girl came with a weight of 2860 grams and a height of 49 centimeters. Most of all, the young mother wishes little Laura health, and to insure him, frozen stem cells from the baby’s umbilical cord.
Record growth of newborns was noted by USBALAG “Selena” for the year 2021, which passed entirely under the sign of the pandemic.
