The girl was in contact with the operator until the ambulance arrived. According to Klusáková, the little girl was very brave and listened to all her instructions. After rescuers gave the woman first aid, her condition improved significantly.
“We treated the patient, she had a drop in blood sugar level, she had so-called hypoglycemia, because she was diabetic. We gave her glucose and her condition quickly improved,” added the doctor Vladimíra Foralová, who cared for the woman.
The South Moravian rescuers appreciated the bravery of the eight-year-old Kačenka, who, according to them, behaved “very promptly and admirably for her age.” The girls, whom they met again a few days later, were handed over by the participants of the Defík plush dog event.
