Cordovan point guard Facundo Campazzo played just over seven minutes and scored no points in Denver Nuggest’s valuable triumph (8-7) against Phoenix Suns (8-6), as a visitor, by 130 to 126 (extra time after equalizing in 114 ), on another NBA day.
The match was played at the Phoenix Suns Arena where tonight both franchises will meet again from 23 in Argentina.
Campazzo only played seven minutes and seven seconds, a brief lapse taking into account that in the past six games he averaged 14 minutes on the court, in which he barely added an assist and a steal.
The Nuggets recovered from two bad moments during the game in which they lost by 13 (32-19) and 14 points (66-52), leveling the game and taking it to the supplementary where they prevailed physically.
Denver’s figure was Serbian pivot Nikola Jokic with 31 points (14-24 in doubles and 1-3 in triples), with 10 rebounds, eight assists and a free ball, followed by Gary Harris with 19 and Canadian Jamal Murray with 18.
