Blaž Janc’s ten accurate shots contributed to Slovenia’s victory (37:30) over the Montenegrin national team.
In the third group, Iceland won a convincing revenge (28:19) over the Czech Republic, and Israel rehabilitated Estonians (29:27) for the loss experienced in Tallinn, significantly reducing the chances of the Estonian national team to qualify for the final tournament.
The Dutch handball players did not score a goal in the final ten minutes of the match (!), letting go of a two-goal lead (25:23) and drawing (25:25) against Croatia. Thus, for at least a month and a half, the honor of the leader of the fifth group will be the national team of Greece, which once again managed (26:24) with the Belgians.
