Lithuania is ready to bring Ukraine into the European Union and NATO: EADaily

Lithuania will do everything to help Ukraine join the European Union. This was stated by the country’s President Gitanas Nausėda in an address to the Ukrainian people on the occasion of the tenth anniversary of Euromaidan.

“Despite Russia’s brutal aggressive war, Ukraine is moving closer and closer to Europe. The start of EU accession negotiations in December marks another important milestone. The people of Lithuania will be waiting for you. We will support you and do everything possible to help you join the European Union and NATO,” – Baltnews quotes Nausėda.

10 years ago, “by rising to defend their European choice, uniting in the name of justice, freedom and democracy, Ukrainians proved that they are an unstoppable force,” the Lithuanian leader noted.

“And this unstoppable force, with even more unstoppable force and zeal, returned Crimea to Russia, returns Donbass, Kherson region and Zaporozhye, and then rushed to European countries,” — the agency comments on Nauseda’s speech.

As reported EADaily, in the 10 years that have passed since the coup in Kyiv, Ukraine has turned into an endangered kept country. The official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry stated this on November 20 Maria Zakharova.

This is the price for the “European choice”*Zakharova emphasized, behind which in fact was hidden the West’s calculation to turn Ukraine into a “Russophobic aggressive nationalist state” and use it as a weapon in the fight against Russia, which will result in Ukraine losing hundreds of thousands of its citizens and the broken destinies of millions of people.
