The list of countries and territories drawn up by the Ministry of Economy and Innovation includes not only Russia and Belarus, but also Russia’s annexed Crimea, the uncontrolled Republic of Transnistria and the Georgian uncontrolled Abkhazia and South Ossetia.
Officials pointed out that so far there were no grounds for procurers to reject tenders or terminate purchase contracts if the goods offered come from countries with risks or their suppliers are related to them.
The decision will allow contracting authorities to refuse to fund these hostile countries through public procurement.
