The presentation of the “Literary pearls” magazine dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic was held at the Nizami Ganjavi Institute of Literature of the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences.
According to the information obtained by SIA from AZERTAC, the Institute informed that the well-known critic Asad Jahangir, who opened the event, expressed his gratitude to Academician Isa Habibbayli, President of ANAS, for the conditions created for the organization of this presentation in such a scientific center. He gave detailed information about the founder and editor-in-chief of “Literary pearls” magazine, where the first two issues were presented, Khalida Nuray.
Adam Bakuvi, a descendant of the Bakuvi family, and Sona Cherkaz, senior lecturer of Baku State University, expressed their confidence that the newly launched magazine will be successful.
At the event, Dr. Salida Sharifova, the senior researcher of the Department of Azerbaijan Literature of the Independence Period of the Institute of Literature, made a detailed report and gave extensive information about the magazine’s creative team and issues.
Professor Gasim Hajiyev, head of the department of the Caucasian Studies Institute of ANAS, professor Tahira Mammad, a scientist of the Institute of Literature, Alizade Asgarli, doctor of philological sciences, and poet Ibrahim Yusifoglu spoke comprehensively about Khalida Nuray’s creative activity in their speeches. Khalida Nuray’s pen pals Nazila Gultaj, Mehabbat Mehdiyeva, Najiba Ilkin, Rafiga Gasimgizi, Yegane Gadimova, Mushfig Borchali spoke and wished success to the creative team of the magazine. Poet and writers Yusif Nagmekar, Nazli Chalabi, Adila Nazar, Pari Mikayilgizi and others emphasized in their speeches that the magazine will have a unique place in our modern press.
In the end, Khalida Nuray and her family members expressed their gratitude for the organization of the event at a high level.
