There has been a red-green majority in the polls for a long time. In Dagbladet’s recent poll, the Labor Party, the Center Party and the Socialist People’s Party have a clear majority. And Jonas Gahr Støre has been clear that he is the prime ministerial candidate on the left.
– You said that Støre is not fit for the job. Do you still mean it, Listhaug?
– At least I do not think he will become prime minister, Listhaug answers.
– Is Støre fit or unsuitable as prime minister?
– He is the leader of the Labor Party. All leaders of the Labor Party will be prime ministerial candidates, but I hope that he is not elected, says Listhaug.

Internal turmoil
The FRP has a national meeting this weekend, and the unrest in the party is starting to become remarkable. On Thursday, the entire FRP group in Halden municipal council withdrew in protest against the line Listhaug has put on the party.
Dagbladet asks the question several times, but Listhaug does not want to answer whether she still believes that Støre is unfit to be prime minister.
Listhaug also says nothing about what qualities Støre has acquired from 2018 until today, which now makes him less unsuitable as prime minister in her eyes.
– I do not go into it now, other than to work for him not to be elected. Four years ago, I campaigned where I was responsible for the immigration field, and as I say, he is hesitant in that area and I think that is critical for the country. Because there you have to have a steady course. I also think that the Labor Party under Støre has become more similar to SV and Rødt. Stoltenberg would never plan to gamble with the oil fund. So I think it would be stupid for Norway if he became prime minister, says Frp’s new leader.
