On Thursday, Dagbladet could tell about the 22-year-old MDG politician Josefine Gjerde as refuses to give birth until she is confident that Norway will meet its climate goals, and averts what she believes is a climate crisis.
The reaction from FRP leader Sylvi Listhaug can not wait. She believes this is the latest in a series of cases in which the MDGs want to restrict Norwegians’ freedom.
Fighting for the climate with denial of birth
– Goes after the children
– They do not just want to take from us the car, the Friday taco and trips to the south, now they will go after our children. What should we call this? “Babyskam”? I hope that people understand that a political change in the autumn can also mean that MDG gets a hand on the wheel and then is in a position where they can get a majority for sky-high taxes and more shame – directly from government offices, warns Listhaug.
The young MDG politician has told Dagbladet that she is afraid of the world in which today’s children are born.
– I fear for the future of the children. We have to halve emissions if we are to achieve our goals, and at today’s pace I’m not sure we can do it. I do not want to bring children to life when we do not know what the world will look like, Gjerde explains.
Listhaug believes that the MDGs again use shame as a political tool, and that this time they want Norwegians to be ashamed of having children.
Listhaug lost: Pushed forward a new vote
– Amazing what they come up with
– What worries me is the way they work to constantly move the boundaries of what they think other people should be ashamed of. Having children is one of the most beautiful things I have ever experienced, and something I treat everyone who wants it. Now the MDGs have begun the process of embarrassing children. It is a little unbelievable and simply reprehensible, says Listhaug seriously.
She still chooses to look at the matter with a small portion of humor and good humor.
– It is absolutely incredible what these MDGs come up with in terms of measures, but they should really have that they take the consequences of their own policy, says a laughing Listhaug.
– Extreme and moralistic
Listhaug must be ashamed
MDG politician and maternity striker Josefine Gjerde, who is currently an adviser to the Bergen City Council and a parliamentary candidate in the autumn elections, answers that she does not want to inflict any shame on giving birth to children. Instead, there are some quite others she thinks should be ashamed.
