This is the band’s first single since the 2017 album “Everything Now”, during which the band visited Latvia, Mežaparks Green Stage, during the world tour on August 6, 2018.

“Arcade Fire” have also announced the release date of their sixth album “WE” – it is expected on May 6 this year. The album will be released under the auspices of Columbia Records.

The authors of the album “WE” are the group’s soloist Win Butler, the group’s member Regine Chassagne and the British producer Nigel Godrich. The album’s recordings were made in New Orleans, El Paso and elsewhere, and the long process of writing music was distilled into a 40-minute epic.

The message of the song is permeated by both the forces that separate us from our loved ones and the determination to overcome the influence of these forces. The album is divided into two parts. The first part “I” or “I” tells about fear and loneliness in isolation, while the second part “We” or “we” is full of the joy of reunion.
