Skoda 1100 OHC

Racing car Skoda 1100 OHC was produced in 1957–1960, but only two spiders and two coupes were created. Spider had a fiberglass body, an aluminum coupe. The engine was derived from the Škoda 440 model, in addition it received two Jikov carburetors, or Weber, aluminum engine head and DOHC valve timing. The four-cylinder with a volume of 1,089 cm³ gave an output of 70 kilowatts, and the 3.9-meter-long car raced with it at speeds of up to 190 km / h.

Škoda 200 RS

The famous and still used designation of Škoda sports cars – the letters RS denoting rally sport – first appeared on competition prototypes 180 RS / 200 RS. Cars with “high-volume” engines (1.8 and 2.0 liters), which reached speeds of up to 240 kilometers, drove through the Czechoslovak “erzets” in 1974-75, before they were replaced by the cult model. 130 RS.

Skoda 130 LR

One of the last Škoda competition cars with a rear engine was the 130 LR models, which were created according to the specifications in terms of the regulations of the very loose Group B. This was canceled in 1986, the car Skoda 130 LR however, he managed to achieve the best result of the Škoda car in the world championship until then – the sixth absolute place in the Rally San Remo.

Skoda Favorit 136 L / A

Four-cylinder 1.3-liter with OHV distribution, 105 hp, maximum torque 117 Nm. These were the parameters of the news Skoda Favorit 136 L / A, which since the 1989 season has replaced the famous specials with a rear engine and rear-wheel drive. The times were fruitful, Favorit regularly triumphed in the category up to 1.3 liters and the solid placement in the overall World Championship standings was no exception. The biggest entry in the competition model was the overall victory in the Formula 2 World Cup for cars with one-axle drive and a two-liter engine in 1994.

Škoda Fabia Rally2 evo

In 2015, the success of the Fabia S2000 was followed by the new Fabia R5, which was very popular with private teams. In April 2019, the newly homologated Škoda Fabia Rally2 evo followed, which the first customer officially took over in July 2019. The lucky one was Toni Gardemeister, a former Škoda Motorsport factory driver. To date, more than one hundred and fifty racing teams from around the world have taken over 430 of these cars. It is therefore no wonder that the Škoda Fabia Rally2 evo has already surpassed the ten thousand customer starts.

Škoda RE-X1 Kreisel

An experimental prototype built in collaboration with Kreisel Electric, a company specializing in battery technology, indicates a possible electrical future in car competitions. It is built on the basis of the successful Škoda Fabia Rally2 evo rally special. The car has a maximum output of 260 kilowatts, the maximum torque is 600 Nm. The drive is provided by two electric motors, the electricity supply is provided by a battery with a capacity of 52.6 kWh. The special, including the 330-kilo battery, weighs 1,330 kilograms, which is only a meter taller than the “regular” Fabia Rally2 evo.
