This weekend the brotherhoods of Gloria take center stage to commemorate the festivity of the Rosary. This Saturday, October 9, the Virgin of this dedication will go out through the streets of the El Palo neighborhood. It will be from 5:30 p.m. in the afternoon from the Parish of Nuestra Señora de las Angustias. She will go on her processional throne and accompanied by the Expiration Music Band.
In addition, this same day the exhibition “Agrupación de Glorias de Málaga 20 Aniversario (2001-2021) will begin. On the occasion of this anniversary, the group – the only one in Spain – holds this exhibition in the brotherhood house of the Brotherhood of the Sepulcher. Juan Márquez is the president of the Glorias de Málaga group and tells the details.
In the calendar of the Association, the date of October 17 is also underlined, the day on which the Rosary of Glories will take place and later the Triumphal procession of the Virgin of Araceli through the streets of Malaga.
And the music will also fill this weekend, specifically the sound of the Malaga Fireman’s Band of Cornets and Drums, who will offer a concert of processions marches this Sunday, October 10 at 8:00 p.m. at the Eduardo Ocón Auditorium.
