The month of October is the month of the Rosary and it arrives full of processional outings, including the Magna Extraordinaria procession in commemoration of the centenary of the Association of Brotherhoods of Malaga. Sixteen thrones will take to the streets on this day for which there are more than 24,000 seats planned to see the official route, which will begin at the beginning of the Alameda Principal and end at Postigo de los Abades with more than two hours of procession.

However, they will not be the first to leave, because before that there will be the Virgin of Tears and Favors that will leave this Sunday, October 3, in Rosario de la Aurora from 7 in the morning from the Church of San Juan. The next image to come out will be the Virgen del Rosario from the Church of Santo Domingo, on October 16 and on October 17 the Virgen de Araceli, from the Glorias Association.

In addition, the date of Saturday 23rd stands out in this brother calendar. Two processions will coincide. On the one hand, the Virgen de la Oliva, co-owner of the Arch Confraternity of the Garden and María Santísima de la Paloma. In this case, the Paloma will be the first large throne to hit the streets of Malaga. Diego Hermoso, older brother of the brotherhood of Holy Wednesday explains the emotion of celebrating, finally, the 50 years of the image, which also opens a new throne, the largest in Andalusia. For this occasion, the brotherhood proposes a different route to that of Holy Week that will start at 7:00 p.m. from the Plaza de San Francisco and that will have a special event in the Plaza del Obispo.

The Vera + Cruz de Alhaurín el Grande Music Band, known as La Pepa, will be in charge of the musical accompaniment as it has been tradition because the band itself is the brother of the brotherhood.
