According to the musicians, the song “Crazy Thought” tells about two sides of a person – calm or shy and safe or impulsive. When both sides meet in the head, there is sometimes ignorance to allow. It is best to allow both of these parties to live together, as this can lead to a positive result, according to the songwriters.

A video of the song was filmed in the summer of 2020, but it became clear that the video would not show the essence of the song and it was not released. With the onset of the second wave of the pandemic, it was clear that the song would be premiered in the spring of 2021. Later, a new idea emerged, to create a text video in the mood of spring, which would better suit the song “Crazy Thought” – colorful and memorable.

The song was made in collaboration with record producer DJ Rudd (Rūdolfs Budze). The author of the text is Mikus Frišfelds. Graphic video maker Madara Dzintara-Pluša.

Five young musicians have joined the group “River of Time”: Guntis Nurža (vocals), Jānis Pastars (guitar), Atis Čamanis (keyboards), Reinis Petrovičs (bass guitar), Edgars Ansons-Tomsons (drums). The group performs at public and private events of various scales throughout Latvia. As the group members emphasize – each member is very different, and this is what unites everyone together and forms the charisma of the group.

Since 2018, “Laika upe” has published several singles and videos. So far, the songs “Lietus iela” and “Polārzvaigznes krīt” have been the most successful, having entered the charts of Latvian radio stations. The band gained more recognition by participating in the semifinals of LTV “Supernova 2019” with the song “Listen To The Way That I Breathe” and the selection of LTV “Supernova 2020” with the song “All My Roads”.
