Towards the end of 2021, world crude oil prices had increased. Rising crude oil prices affect price of fuel oil (BBM).
However, a number of gas stations owned by PT Pertamina (Persero) and Shell Indonesia were observed to be still holding back the increase in fuel prices to this day, Wednesday (1/12/2021). This is in line with the Decree of the Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources (Kepmen) No. 62 K/12/MEM/2020 concerning Basic Price Formula in Calculation of Retail Sales Prices for General Fuel Oil Types of Gasoline and Diesel Oil Channeled Through Public Fuel Filling Stations.
Quoted from the official Pertamina and Shell Indonesia pages, Monday (1/12/2021), the following is the latest list of fuel prices that are still valid in December 2021:
Pertamina
– Pertalite Rp 7,650-8,000 per liter
– Pertamax IDR 9,000-9,400 per liter
– Pertamax Turbo Rp 12,300-12,700 per liter
– Dexlite IDR 9,500-9,900 per liter
– Pertamina Dex (CN 53) IDR 11,150-11,550 per liter
Shell Indonesia
– Shell Super (RON 92) Rp 11.500-12.860 per liter
– Shell V-Power (RON 95) Rp 12.300-13.400 per liter
– Shell Diesel Extra (CN 51) Rp 11.150 per liter
– Shell V-Power Diesel (CN 51) Rp 13.000 per liter
– Shell V-Power Nitro+ (RON 98) Rp 13.700 per liter
That’s the update fuel price at the newest Pertamina and Shell gas stations. For the record, keep in mind that there are slight differences in fuel prices in a number of regions in Indonesia.
