According to the musician “Delfi”, the producer of the song is Valters Pūce. He has previously written several songs recognized by listeners for his group “Dagamba”. Both musicians are former schoolmates when they studied cello at the Royal Academy in Brussels. Owl believes that the trump card of the composition is Fogelmane’s unique approach to songwriting: “I am very pleased that many years later she addressed me to produce her music.” I am everything “has its own unique sound, complemented by Madara’s angelic voice. the song will definitely give a completely new musical sound to Latvian music. “
Fogelmane has a special message in the song, telling about the search for ourselves and the maintenance of our own existence: “I am engaged in the search for life myself – I am fascinated by the transcendental. The song is about our inner strength, seeking and sustaining it, because everyone has their dreams, their desires, and in order to fulfill them, we have to find our own path, not follow the paths of others. ” Madara hopes that by listening to this song, everyone will remember to look at the blue sky from time to time and feel the environment around them.
The director of the clip is Marts Indrikis Zunde, a student of Riga Art and Media Technical School, who created the video for his qualification work. The new director reveals: “The story is about a guy whose daily routine runs in a gray routine. The moment he is given extra work, he realizes that day by day he does not want to live in such a rhythm and goes in search of himself.” Zunde believes that a person is always in search of himself, but now especially because of the situation in the world.
Madara has previously written the well-known song “Presence”, which made her debut in 2017 in the Eurovision national selection “Supernova”. At that time, Madara won third place and the popular Eurovision blog “Wiwibloggs” chose this composition as the favorite song of the year.
The group consists of three string virtuosos – Madara Fogelmane (cello, vocals), Erna Daugaviete (cello) and Evita Bambāne (double bass).
