Latvian musician RAUM, real name Reinis Straume, has submitted a new song “Roof Rides” to the general public, for which a video version has also been made.
After a successful solo career application with the song “Happy”, which was released at the end of March, RAUM continues its creative activity with a new composition “Roof Drives”. The song was made during the strict restrictions of last year and reflects the feelings of the musician of that time.
“The last year with the tail is a time when we were all tested both physically and psychologically. Those who were first accustomed to running were hanged on the spot. Those who were accustomed to making noise had to learn to live in silence. What kind of cockroaches are starting to rain out under enough pressure? It’s OK not to be OK, but sometimes you should talk to someone about it, and I talk through this song, ”Reinis comments on the latest performance.
The song “Roof Rides” is available on all download and streaming sites.
The video version of the song also this time, just like debut single “Happier” video, made together with “371 Production”, whose team includes video director Mark Landmanis, producer and screenwriter Bruno Ray Corns, as well as cameraman Rihards Dīcis.
Although it is currently difficult to predict the resumption of potential public events, RAUM and the team are already thinking about the possibilities of showing new songs in live performances.
“There is something sacred for me to play my music in front of the audience, I am looking forward to the moment when the released and unreleased studio songs will sound with the power of a live concert,” says RAUM
