“The popular Raimonds Pauls song with the words of Leonas Briežs in the new version of” Dāvāja Māriņa “surprises with the sound of a cello and emotional singing in a contemplative and modern mood. The song ‘s recording and musical approach are also appreciated by the song’ s author Maestro Raimonds Pauls.

The name of the concert program “Five Elements” is not a coincidence, as it is dominated by five different musical moods – academic music, rock and pop music, songs by Latvian authors and references to folk or world music.

Other compositions in the program include the song “Who Wants To Live Forever” by the group “Queen”, the rock anthem “Smoke On The Water”, “Sweet Dreams” once sung by Annie Lenox, as well as Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart’s Night Queen’s Aria from the opera “Magic flute “and many other compositions.
