On Friday, March 20, 2020 at 8.45 am, 180 European radio stations simultaneously played “You’ll never walk alone” by Gerry & The Pacemakers. It was an idea of the Dutch 3FM DJ Sander Hoogendoorn to give everyone hope and courage during the then early corona crisis. A year has passed and corona is still dominating our lives. Radio 2 Inspector Sven Pichal therefore called for the action again at the beginning of this week. More than 100 radio stations all over Europe were ready this morning at 8.45 am.
