According to the band, “Groove With Me” is one of Kristine Praulina & Soulful Crew’s most recent songs, which slightly reveals the sound of the debut album “Textures”.
“In the album, we indulge in different aspects of music, exploring and passing it through. It is our gratitude to the music for so many great feelings that have accumulated over the years. We hope that our listeners will feel and hear it,” says the soloist Kristīne Prauliņa.
The message of the song “Groove With Me” illuminates the joyful, moving texture or hue of music and tells about one of the basic functions of music – to unite, move and bring people closer, to open the atmosphere, allowing rhythms and flow of music.
The video of the lyrics of the song’s visual stories is dressed by the talented singer and audio visual artist Madara Dzintara, about whom the group’s soloist Kristīne tells more: “Madara is a friend of the group and a great person who immediately sensed the song’s mood.
Kristine Praulina & Soulful Crew was formed in 2018. The group consists of pianist Toms Mikāls, guitarist Jānis Kalniņš, bassist Valters Sprūdžs and drummer Kaspars Kurdeko, which is complemented by the voice of singer Kristīne Prauliņa. A year after the band’s founding, it introduced itself musically with its first mini-album, “A Warmer October,” followed by a few singles. However, in the spring of 2021, the band’s full-length album “Textures” will be released.
