I have been “Taboo” for 18 years. As I laugh myself, “Without Taboos” is like my fourth child. And my greatest satisfaction is that “Without Taboo” has grown from a show of jokes and nonsense into a “real thing”! Most likely, this is also one of the secrets of the longevity of the show – real people and real stories. Because it is clear that there is also room for humor, joke stories and mysticism, but lies, even “white ones” come to light sooner or later, and then the porridge must be shaken with large spoons.
We meet people every day, with specialists from various fields, about whom we know that we will have to meet again and be able to look the same in the air! Therefore, no matter how sometimes we get dirty, I can safely say that we work with a clear conscience! Plus, this job isn’t easy! It takes courage!
I am also grateful to my team for that – for their courage, ability to work and creative spirit! The greatest satisfaction for me is always when I manage to move or shed light on a global misconception, such as in legislation or in a system of bureaucracy.
You will agree, but it does not have to be the case that when the medical device (which is the only one in Latvia) breaks down, the oncology patient has to call the French and German clinics to ask someone to pick him up!

On Sunday, September 6, on TV3 at At 8 pm there will be a festive show “Without Taboo Celebrates 20” in the mood of the show “I Love You, Latvia”. Agnese Drunka, Juris Šteinbergs, Rēzija Kalniņa will unite in Valters Krauze’s team, while Evelīna Strazdiņa, Egons Reiters and Gundega Skudriņa will fight in Jana Duļevska’s team.
