Listen! Aminata’s new song ‘This is my time’

“This is my time” is a dynamic disco-inspired single that will be able to make the darkest time of the year a little brighter and more hopeful. The idea and the first versions of the song were made this spring, when Aminata, like most of the world, spent time at home alone, living with the limitations and ignorance created by the pandemic. The authors of the lyrics are Aminata and Mikus Frišfelds, while the authors of the music are Aminata and Rūdolfs Budze.

Aminata comments on the collaboration with Universal Music as follows: “A new stage in my career has begun – collaboration, which I am very happy about. “Aminata is a singer and songwriter who has achieved success both in Latvia and abroad, the best known of which is the honorable 6th place in the Eurovision Song Contest in 2015. Aminatas has participated in performers’ competitions and TV shows in Latvia and abroad since childhood.

This year’s planned Amina solo concert “Gentle Power” in the Hanseatic Peron has been postponed to March 12, 2021.
