Xiaomi announced a list of its phones that are getting the MIUI 13 interface update. The announcement was made by Xiaomi at the same time as the launch of its newest phone, the series Redmi Note 11 on Wednesday (26/1).
MIUI 13 was introduced at the end of 2021. This new interface is said to be introduced to Xiaomi phones in stages.
On its official website and Twitter account, Xiaomi said the first batch of MIUI 13 rollout would take place in the first quarter of 2022.
The phones that will get the latest MIUI 13 interface are 17 phones and one tablet. Some of the phones that will get the update are phones from the Xioami Mi 11 series, Xiaomi 11T, Redmi Note 11 series, Redmi Note 10 series, and Redmi Note 8.

Apart from the phones listed above, a number of other phones may also get the MIUI 13 update in the next wave.
“The release schedule for other devices will be published gradually on the MIUI website. The launch schedule may vary by region,” said Xiaomi quoted from the official website.
MIUI 13 comes with various updates in terms of design, performance, and security. As the successor of MIUI 12.5, this new interface comes with a new font called ‘Mi Sans to give a refresh in terms of design.
To improve performance, MIUI 13 comes with the Atomized Memory feature which increases efficiency in RAM usage.
MIUI also comes with a Sidebar feature to make it easier for users to access favorite applications.
