With amazing skyscrapers and endless activity, New York City is one of the most famous in the world. But that seems to be changing. Or at least according to a recent list.
Wanderu ha published a list of the 20 most famous Instagram streets in the United States and New York only appears once.
The places of honor on the list were occupied by Ocean Drive and NW 2nd Avenue, in Miami, Florida and by Bourbon Street, in New Orleans, Louisiana.
Fifth Avenue New York appears in position number 6, with a total of 572,912 publications.
But how did Wanderu arrive at its official ranking?
The travel search platform searched for three hashtags for each famous street, taking into account the variations of the hashtags. For example, #thestrip, #thevegasstrip, and #lasvegasstrip cumulatively represent total posts from The Strip.
