Here is a list of the 10 largest stadiums in the world..and two Arab stadiums are on the list
The Naridra Modi Stadium in India topped the ranking of the largest stadiums in the world, with a capacity of 132,000 spectators, according to a report published by the Spanish newspaper “Marca” last Monday regarding the largest stadiums in the world.
The report included two stadiums in the Arab world, namely Lusail Stadium, which hosted the final round of the Qatar World Cup between France and Argentina, as it ranked eighth for the largest stadiums in the world with 88,966 spectators, while the Burj Al Arab stadium in Egypt ranked 11th, with a capacity of 86,000 fans.
The May 1 stadium in South Korea came second with a capacity of 114,000 spectators, while the cricket stadium in Melbourne, Australia, came third with 100,024 spectators, while the Camp Nou stadium of the Spanish team Barcelona won fourth place with 99,354 spectators.
The Soccer City stadium in South Africa ranked fifth, with a capacity of 94,736 spectators, while the Rose Bowl stadium in the United States of America comes sixth with 92,800 fans, while the famous Wembley Stadium in London, with a capacity of 90,000 fans, came seventh. Azteca Stadium in Mexico ranked ninth with 87,523 spectators, bringing the tenth place to Bukit Jalil Stadium in Malaysia with 87,411 fans.
