List of Spanish restaurants with Michelin Stars in 2021

As every year, the Michelin Guide already has its complete list with the names of the restaurants that this 2021 will be part of this prestigious culinary constellation in Spain and with the number of stars that correspond to each one. A series of restaurants to which this 2021 are added those that were announced last December through an event held at the Real Casa de Correos de Madrid and that today we bring you in full.

As a novelty of this new edition, it should be noted that this newly released 2021 has not given us a new 3 Michelin stars, but even so it has kept those that already had that triple award and has also delivered a total of 19 first stars for restaurants from all over Spain. But without a doubt, Catalonia and Galicia have managed to become this time the clear protagonists with double stars for restaurants Culler de Pau (Reboredo), Bo.Tic (Corçà) and Cinc Sentits (Barcelona). Restaurants that continue with their three Michelin Stars

ABaC (Barcelona): The cuisine of the well-known member of the jury of the ‘MasterChef’ program, Jordi Cruz, at ABaC can be defined by a unique blend of tradition, modernity, flavor, product, attitude and passion. A culinary experience in which in each dish there is a constant commitment to renewal, with the best techniques as protagonists, also Mediterranean dishes, well-studied recipes and nods to the different flavors of the world. A constant harmony of flavors capable of conquering the most demanding palates.

Lasarte (Barcelona): Martín Berasategui, teacher and mentor to some of the great chefs with Michelin Stars, manages to achieve a hedonistic concept of gastronomy with Lasarte. All thanks to its carefully chosen products, its artisan breads, its new creations and of course its emblematic dishes such as its famous caramelised smoked eel, foie gras, spring onion and green apple.

Quique Dacosta (Dénia): This restaurant reflects the personality of its chef with a cuisine that highlights creative dishes and proposals designed to feed body and soul. In its menu there is no shortage of rice dishes, salted fish, the iconic red prawn from Dénia or the most famous beer of the house (La Valiente).

Akelaŕe (Donostia-San Sebastián): Its chef Pedro Subijana is a benchmark in the world of catering, especially for his culinary background and for being one of the fathers of New Basque Cuisine, but always with renewal, creativity, technique and respect for the roots traditional.

Arzak (Donostia-San Sebastian): This San Sebastian restaurant has been part of the Michelin Guide since 1974. A family house in Alto de Miracruz in which history and modernity converge, all with the perfect tandem formed by Juan Mari Arzak and his daughter Elena. They are in charge of bringing creativity, staging and magical flavors to each culinary proposal.

El Celler de Can Roca (Gerona): The essence of the Roca brothers’ cuisine makes us enjoy with the eyes, the palate and the rest of the senses, playing with the sensations of each flavor. Sustainability and local products are also part of its gastronomic offer.

Azurmendi (Larrabetzu): A world benchmark when it comes to sustainability, and adaptation to the environment and of course also to its flavors. Chef Eneko Atxa defends the native nature and the values ​​of Basque culture by pampering a sapling of the Gernika Tree that grows at the entrance of the restaurant and also offering a unique culinary experience.

Arbor of Amós (Villaverde de Pontones, Cantabria): Chef Jesús Sánchez and the support of Marián Martínez, achieve a cuisine faithful to local products, thus achieving the best culinary tributes to the environment, identity and the great research work behind each bite.

Three new restaurants with two Michelin Stars

Cinc Sentits (Barcelona): Discipline in the kitchen and the mix between innovation and traditional Catalan cuisine by Jordi Artal in his Cinc Sentits are some of the main characteristics that define this restaurant, which already has its second Michelin Star.

Bo.TiC (Corçà): This restaurant surprises both for its location in an old carriage factory, and for the passion and technique that it shows in each of its dishes.
