Jakarta, CNBC Indonesia – Samsung provides an update software One UI 5.1 on a number of older cellphones. There will be more than 100 million Samsung Galaxy users who will get the update.
SamMobile noting if this update is fast enough. Because, it usually takes a few months for the update software on many other devices.
While One UI 5.1 was present at the ‘Unpacked’ Samsung Galaxy S23 earlier this month. Less than two weeks after it was announced and even the new phone hasn’t been officially released yet, the company has rolled out an update.
So far, only the Galaxy S predecessor S23 phones have received the update. One UI 5.1 can also be enjoyed on Samsung’s foldable line of phones.
SamMobile also writes that for other devices it’s just a matter of time to get the One UI 5.1 update. Phones on the update waiting list starting from those launched in 2021 and 2022, as well as the Galaxy A52/A53 and A72/A73.
The 2019 and 2020 phones will reportedly be the last to get One UI 5.1.
