After a series of Arabic and Egyptian musical evenings, which ended on Thursday evening, the 31st edition of Arabic music festival In Cairo, which attended concerts for singers and singers of all generations, in the presence of a large number of audiences looking to hear the words tarab.

The youth singing contest was won by Ahmed Abdel Aziz (first place), Muhammad Tariq Mustafa (second place) and Luay Ahmed Mohamed (third place).

Singing contest for people with special abilities was won by Ziad Ibrahim Abdel Salam (first place), Ahmed Sherif Al-Sheikh (second place) and Muhammad Ayman (third place).

The Excellence in Playing competition was won by Muhammad Ayman Kandil (oud), George Medhat Shafik (keyboard), Khaled Mustafa Abdel-Moneim Hajjaj (piano) and Ahmed Muhammad Abu Qassem (guitar) and Muhammad Abdul Aziz Mahmoud (piano). Flute) and the Tunisian Ghaith Azzouz (keyboard).

The children’s singing contest was won by Sandra Imad Mounir (first place), Marwan Hisham Eleiwa (second place) and Mohamed Nader Ezzat (third place) .In the Special Skills section of the same competition, Rana Ahmed Mohamed Mahmoud (first place) won Farida Islam Sayed Mustafa (second place) and Irene Ashraf Lamei Daniel (third place).

At the end of the awards, Syrian singer Asala Nasri performed a concert lasting about two hours and entertained her audience with many of her ancient and modern songs, amid the audience interaction with her and also participated by singing some of the songs by Abdel Halim Hafez and Umm Kulthum.

And before Asala sang one of her songs, she told her audience: “Today I am strong and the last session of the festival, one of you told me that you are strong and I turn to her because she knew I was strong before me. .. indeed, I have become strong .. I am strong today “.

Asala expressed her thanks to the audience who supported her, saying: “Every year on this date there is a role for a word, but I choose to meet the homeland because from my beginnings I have become my beloved and friend I have known.
