PT Pertamina (Persero) will soon have a Special Team that analyzes the reasons for potential investors in the refinery project to withdraw, and renegotiates. The Special Team will be formed according to direct directions from the President Commissioner of Pertamina Basuki Tjahaja Purnama (BTP) aka Ahok.
Who will be the members of the Special Team?
Ahok said the Special Team would consist of Pertamina’s internal ranks, one of which was Director of Strategy, Portfolio and Business Development, Iman Rachman.
“Internal. Portfolio Director with the Investment Committee and Audit Committee, as well as the Transformer Task Force Team (Board of Commissioners),” Ahok told detikcom, Saturday (3/10/2020).
Later, the Special Team will renegotiate with potential investors in refinery projects who have been interested in collaborating with Pertamina.
“To renegotiate all investors who have and want to cooperate with Pertamina,” said Ahok.
Adding Ahok, Vice President for Corporate Communication of Pertamina, Fajriyah Usman, said that the Special Team was still in preparation and discussion.
Later, the team will be tasked with providing understanding to potential Pertamina investors so that they are sure to cooperate.
“Broadly speaking, this team was formed so that the strategic partnership process was more optimal so that potential investors would understand and be confident about Pertamina’s future project outlook,” explained Fajriyah when contacted by detik.com separately.
