The rules state that the mall will be opened in stages. This is especially the case for malls in DKI Jakarta, Bandung, Surabaya, and Semarang.
The following malls are starting to open today:
1. Grand Indonesia
In the @grandindo Instagram account, the management stated that the mall was starting to open today. All visitors entering the mall area must have been vaccinated against COVID-19.
Prospective mall visitors can first download the PeduliLindung application to check the vaccination status. In addition, the public can use the check-in and check-out features to enter and exit the mall area.
“Effective on August 10, 2021, Grand Indonesia accepts visitors who have received the COVID-19 vaccine,” the management wrote on the Instagram account @grandindo, quoted Tuesday (10/8).
The editors have tried to contact Grand Indonesia Corporate Communications Annisa Hazarini regarding the process of checking for COVID-19 vaccinations for visitors. However, there has been no response so far.
2. Kota Kasablanka
Management announced the mall will start opening today. This was published on the Instagram account @kotakasablank.
Kota Kasablanka management also asked the public to download the PeduliLindung application to facilitate the process of entering and exiting the mall area.
In addition, the management also informed that the restaurant could not be fully opened. The restaurant can only serve delivery and does not serve dine-in.
It is known, Kota Kasablanka is one of the malls owned by PT Pakuwon Jati Tbk (PWON).
The editors have tried to contact the President Director of Pakuwon Jati Stefanus Ridwan to find out the process of reopening Kota Kasablanka after being closed for several weeks. However, there has been no response so far.
3. Plaza Blok M
Plaza Blok M starts to open today. The management announced it through the @plaza_blokm Instagram account.
However, the management only accepts visitors who have been vaccinated against COVID-19. For this reason, the manager asks the public to prepare vaccine certificates and follow health protocols while in the mall area.
Then, management said that the restaurant only served delivery (delivery). This means that visitors have not been able to return to enjoying eating at the restaurant inside the mall at this time.
“Restaurants only continue to serve delivery or takeout orders, not to eat on the spot, and cinemas and children’s playgrounds are not open yet,” the management wrote in the Instagram account.
