Jakarta, CNBC Indonesia – After winning two golds in the men’s +73kg weightlifting event and the ‘speed’ class, Indonesia’s struggle rests on the shoulders of athlete Nurul Akmal.
Nurul Akmal will compete in the women’s +81kg weightlifting competition on Sunday (11/8/2024), ahead of the 2024 Olympics Closing Ceremony, on Monday (12/8/2024).
Nurul Akmal will compete against 11 teams from 11 countries, including defending champion Li Wenwen (China) and Tokyo Olympic silver medalist from the United States, Emily Campbell. These two female athletes will be tough opponents for Nurul Akmal.
Nurul Akmal, known as Amel familiar, is one of Indonesia’s top athletes at the Tokyo 2024 Olympics In the Country of Sakura, the 31-year-old athlete got the best position in fifth place.
