List of electric motorcycles already sold in Indonesia, starting at IDR 10 million

Electric motor it began to be sold massively by Indonesian producers. The various products offered consist of many classes and can of course be adapted to the contents of your pocket.

But for now, the choice of a new electric motorcycle is offered by a brand new local manufacturer. Meanwhile, big players like Honda and Yamaha have not yet launched a zero-emission motorcycle.

So far only Honda has said it will launch an electric motorcycle next year.

Meanwhile, the government through the Ministry of Industry (Kemenperin) says that there are currently 35 electric motorcycle manufacturers in Indonesia ready to produce electric motorcycles with a total capacity of 1 million units per year. Production capacity will be increased to two million units in 2023.

Below is a list of electric motorcycles sold in Indonesia.

Alva

Alva One is the first electric motorcycle manufactured and sold by Ilectra Motor Group, a subsidiary of PT Indika Energy Tbk.

Alva valued this bike at IDR 34.9 million. This electric motor is said to be capable of a top speed of 90 km per hour, while the capacity of a fully charged battery can travel up to 70 km.

One battery can be fully charged with a runtime of four hours.

David

Another brand, Davigo, is marketing Forza products at IEMS 2022 at a price of IDR 17.47 million. This bike is said to be capable of going at a speed of 50km per hour with a range of up to 60km.

ECG

Another electric motorcycle in Indonesia is the ECGO-2. This motorcycle is said to be able to travel 60km per hour with a range of 70km. In terms of price, the manufacturer sells it for Rp. 11 million, but there is a plan to lease the battery to the buyer.

Gesits

Gesits is also one of the electric motorcycle brands made in Indonesia. This product is offered at the price of IDR 28 million.

On paper, the Gesits-manufactured electric motor has 6.7 horsepower and is backed by an NCM Li-ion battery with a capacity of 3 kWh which is said to be capable of traveling up to 100 km/h on a full battery.

Niu

This Chinese manufacturer sells its GOVA-03 motorcycle at a price of IDR 25 million. The bike has the ability to reach a top speed of 60km/h with a range of 55 to 75km.

From the specifications, this motorcycle is equipped with a 18650 lithium battery with a large voltage of 60V and a capacity of 40Ah with a weight of 269kg with a choice of seats for 1-2 people.

Polytron

Buai electric motors are also driving electronic equipment maker Polytron to seek his fortune. Polytron sells Fox-R electric motorcycles which are sold for IDR 16.5 million off road or tax free at IMOS 2022.

This bike is sold without a battery, which means that consumers have to rent it in the form of a three-year contract at a cost equivalent to IDR 9 million.

This motorcycle is equipped with an electric motor with a power of 3 kW and a maximum speed of 90 km/h. The battery has a capacity of 3.7 kWh.

This motorcycle can travel 130km on a fully charged battery. The battery is said to be charged from zero to 80 percent with a runtime of 4 hours and 30 minutes.

Selis

At IEMS 2022, Selis presented two electric motorcycles, namely the E-Max SLA Rp. 11.499 million and Agats Rp. 14.999 million.

The capacity of the E-Max SLA can reach a maximum speed of 50km per hour and a range of 40km, while Agats has a maximum speed of 50km per hour and 60km per hour.

Segways

Segway is also a newcomer to the country’s electric motorcycle market. This brand is featured through the N90C product which was launched for IDR 27 million, has a speed of 52 km per hour and a range of 76 to 94 km.

Then there is the N100 model which is priced at IDR 34 million. This model is said to be capable of covering a distance of 70 to 110km with a top speed of 60km per hour.

In addition, the E110L, sold at IDR 40 million, has a speed of 62km/h, a range of 70-110km; and finally the E200P model which is sold at IDR 85 million which has a capacity of 100 km per hour and a range of 200 km.

United

Bicycle manufacturer United tried its luck producing the T1800 electric motorcycle. United sells its electric motorcycle for IDR 30 million.

This motorcycle is equipped with a lithium battery with a capacity of 60V28Ah which at 100 percent can reach a maximum speed of 70km/h and a range of up to 60km with an average speed of 50 to 60km/h in normal speed mode.

This motorcycle is powered by a BOSCH 60V1800W electric motor with 27 Nm of torque and 1,800 W of power.

UWinfly

Another brand offering zero emission motorcycles in Indonesia is UWinfly. There are numerous models sold by this brand in the country with various models and specifications. UWinfly electric motorcycles are sold by IDR 10 million.

Travel

Viar now has a number of electric motorcycles, including the Q1, which it sells for IDR 21 million. This engine is equipped with two batteries, each of 60V23Ah. The maximum speed of this electric motor is 60 km per hour.

Furthermore, there is also Viar N1 which is marketed at IDR 25.87 million and N2 which is priced at IDR 34 million for Greater Jakarta area.

Time

Volta offers two products for electric motorcycles, namely Virgo and 401. Volta markets Virgo during IEMS 2022 for Rp. 14 million and 401 for Rp. 12 million.

Virgo has a range of 65km on one battery and 130km on two batteries. The maximum speed is 55 km per hour. Meanwhile, the 401 has a range of 60km on one battery and 120km on two batteries. Maximum speed from 401 to 60 km per hour.
