According to the CDPR studio, the highly anticipated and so far also the last announced “big” patch for Cyberpunk 2077 is very close to its release on PC, consoles and Stadia. So we got the so-called “patch notes”, or complete list improvements, fixes and changes in the patch contained. The release of this list suggests that the patch itself could follow in a few hours. Much of these changes are related to specific situations in individual missions, which should of course dramatically improve the overall impression of their playing.
When I read it like that, I’m quite sorry that I played C77 without all these improvements, and I feel like trying to play it again to see how much it has moved after all these (hundreds?) Improvements. Looking at the almost thirty-page list, we can’t deny that CDPR has done a tremendous amount of work for this patch. Besides, we are they wrote also about leaked names of planned DLCs, some of which are to be paid.
With a similarly large patch, of course, there is a chance that, on the contrary, some things will break like this table for the last, much smaller patch. In addition to mission-specific fixes, the list of patch 1.2 also includes fixes or enhancements to more general things, such as:
Gameplay
- Police are spawning away from the crime scene.
- Steering sensitivity setting.
- Stuck release release system.
- Cancel the movement of the sights during Berserk mode.
- Cancel friends’ reactions to killing them.
- Correction of unwanted verbal reactions of NPCs during interaction (they reacted to grabbing as a push).
- Slipping no longer prevents damage from falling.
- If you lift the body with the key item, the item will be moved to your inventory.
- Corrections of misconduct by civilians (response to car accidents).
- Repairs and improvements to mechanics when fighting bosses.
- The subject for the new division of points into abilities is cheaper.
- Adjustment (reduction) of necessary raw materials for manufactured weapons and objects.
- Gorilla Arms weakened by 20% and cannot be used on civilians.
- Fixed the behavior of disassembled objects.
- Repairs of jammed doors.
- The Transmigration ability has been moved to the 20th level (previously it was at the 16th level).
- Improved GPS navigation in many situations.
- Fixed many specific issues in specific missions.
